Y. Martin Lo,博士,食品加工与安全领域专家,现任Biointellipro公司总裁,是国际食品科技联盟首位无任所大使,致力于协助发展中国家发展农业与食品科学。曾执教于美国马里兰大学食品科学与营养学系并任研究所主任。担任Wiley出版集团公司的《食品加工与保存》和《食品科学与营养》的期刊主编。在著名学术期刊发表80余篇研究论文,主要研究方向包括粮食和农业副产品的转化增值与食品安全策略的发展。曾协助美国州政府卫生部审核并认可食品加工操作规范。曾任马里兰美国农业部食品安全检验局食品安全HACCP负责人,并任食品安全和应用营养联合研究所主要培训师,对商业无菌包装食品与良好农业规范(GAP)进行国际培训。2012年获美国白宫颁发的志愿服务总统奖。

Profile of the Lecturer:
Dr. Y. Martin Lo is an expert in food processing and safety field. He is the president of Biointellipro Company, the first ambassador-at-large of International Union of Food Science & Technology, chief editor of periodical<Food processing and storage>, <Food science and nutrition> which both belong to Wiley Publishing Group. Now Dr. Lo devotes himself on development of agriculture and food science in developing countries. Dr. Lo has published more than 80 theses in famous academic journals, main research area including appreciation of grain and agricultural by product, development of food safety strategy. He has assisted American State Government Ministry of Health to audit and approve operation specification of food processing. He has been appointed the HACCP principal in FSIS, USDA, Maryland. And is also chief trainer in Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN) majored in international training on Commercial asepsis packing food and Good Agricultural Practices(GAP). He received President volunteer service award issued by White House in 2012.
